For this project I was inspired by Frida Kahlo’s portrayal of pain and passion and took some elements that are found on her paintings. Since I was young, her paintings have struck me for being for so intimate and moving. The way she portrays the most vulnerable parts of her life makes her a such a strong character. The paintings that inspired me are "La Cama", "Las Dos Fridas", "Portaretrato Con Collar de Espinas y un Colibri", "Retablo", "El Abrazo de Amor del Universo", "El Ciervo Herido".
